Driven by a passion for movies, Mr Rajesh Dempo set up his own production house in the year 2015, Vishwas Media & Entertainment, named after his beloved father and Chairman Emeritus Late Shri Vishwasrao Dempo. Established with the aim of spreading symbolic messages through films, his primary focus is to shine the spotlight on Indian culture through regional languages and highlight social issues. Vishwas Media & Entertainment also backs & supports theatre shows by reputed and prominent stage artists every year in memory of our Chairman emeritus and his love for music and drama.
In 2016, Mr Rajesh Dempo produced his first Marathi film ‘Rangaa Patangaa’, an art film starring Marathi Prominent star Makarand Anaspure, which won several National awards and accolades from the film fraternity.
This led him to produce yet another star-studded Marathi film “Hazaar Vela Sholay Pahilela Manus” which has recently been completed and will be released later in the year starring Marathi film industry prominent stars Dilip Prabhavalkar, Sonali Kulkarni & Siddharth Jadhav etc
